Sharp Take On CC Moore

METEOR RANGE FOR CARP, BARBEL, CATFISH, TENCH & CHUB 

If ever there was a list of all-round baits then this would be up near the top. Meteor’s smooth frankfurter aroma and spiced meat taste is combined with low oil energy sources to create the ultimate year-round food bait that Carp, Chub, Barbel, Tench & Catfish find highly attractive in even the coldest water temperatures.  

Containing enzyme-treated liver, fish, milk and egg proteins and a large helping of Haiths Robin Red which gives the bait its blood red appearance. The boilies are available as both shelf life and freezer baits with 10/15 & 18mm as freezer baits and 15mm and 18mm in shelf life.

Tubs of hardened 14/18mm hookbaits are also available to avoid the attention of crayfish.

METEOR RANGE Boilie Paste 

My particular favourite is the moist freezer boilie paste which has so many uses. In the past I’ve made my own pastes by grinding down pellets and mixing with eggs so this takes all of the hassle out of doing that. Its perfect fished on its own, wrapped around hook baits or your lead to deliver a soluble stream of attractors to your baited area. These will draw fish in using the same proven appetite stimulants that are used in Meteor boilies.

METEOR RANGE Airball Wafters 

These cork dust wafters offer a neutral buoyancy bait which will waft around naturally.
 Ideal for creating critically balanced hookbaits, what they won’t do is pop up or balance your hook and if that’s what you want to do look at shotting airball or cork ball pop ups.

METEOR RANGE PELLETS 

Something I always use is pellets and these 6mm ones are made with the same ingredients as the shelf life and freezer baits for a lovely strong smelling pellet that will break down within an hour to cloud the water.

If looking at adding your pellets to baits such as hemp then do this just before you start to fish. If you do this at home by the time you start to fish the pellets will have become soft and mushy. If fishing for barbel I would always add Elips pellets which they find very attractive.

METEOR RANGE Stick Mix 

Lots of us use stick mix these days and the nice thing is that they can very much be personalised. The CC Moore Meteor stick mix contains meat proteins, yeasts, soluble fish proteins and other proven natural attractors and again gives off a nice rich smell.

For a superb fish-catching combination when something different is required, try mixing Meteor Stick Mix with Liquid Liver Extract and a small amount of Liquid Shellfish Concentrate to give a savoury, meaty stick mix which is highly palatable to all species - when used for carp, this also seems to be very 'big fish' selective and great for commons 

METEOR RANGE Airball Pop-Ups 

These super buoyant air ball pop ups are very durable. A favourite of mine is to trim pop ups to form different sizes and shapes and these are great for that.

 You can also dip them for added attraction and they contain all the same attractors as the shelf life meteor baits.
 The 14mm tub contains 50 baits while you will get 35 baits in the 18mm tub.

METEOR RANGE HookBaits 

 These ready glugged hookbaits are brilliant either used singularly or over a bed of bait. Each pot contains 50 glugged 10x14mm hookbaits. Being constantly soaking in the rich powerful glug they really pack a massive punch and can be a stalking anglers dream.
 There is so much rich glug in the pot that I found I was able to add some 15mm shelf life baits so that Ive now got variety to the size and shape of bait that I fish with.

METEOR RANGE Dips 

Dips again form a big part of my armoury and the Meteor one is top quality with a nice strong rich smell.

A great tip is to dip your rig and bag into the pva-friendly liquid to really boost the attraction levels.

If your targeting barbel and want a high smelling bait then take your bag of meteor biolies and tip some of the liquid meteor in and give the bag a good shake so that the baits are all shiny and covered. The flavour will be drawn right through the bait giving added attraction.

METEOR RANGE WeedBeater Mix,  

Fortunately most of the waters I fish are relatively weed free but I truly think CC Moore have come up with something special with their Weedbeater Mix.

Once released from a  pva bag Weedbeater Mix reacts with water, fizzing up and down through the layers whilst releasing powerful attractors that will attract fish and pull them down to your perfectly presented hookbait sat on an irresistible pile of stick mix. This gentle fizzing action is incredibly effective at attracting inquisitive fish to an area where the Weedbeater Mix and hookbait are presented.
